GET INVOLVED

Support the organization or your community by donating your time. Together, we can make a difference.
FUNDRAISER SUPPORT

The WOA conducts a number of annual fundraising events that

support the WOA Memorial Scholarship Fund, Youth Activities, veterans and local charities.

Funding support be as simple as attending the WOA Pancake Breakfast or as involved as helping find sponsors for the annual charity golf tournament.

See our Facebook page or Events tab for opportunities to support our fundraising efforts.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

The WOA supports a number of charitable organizations by

volunteering.

Some organizations seek to assist veterans by providing a variety of resources. The Resource Fair provides assistance with finding a job, housing, or medical care.

Others seek to recognize veteran's by honoring their service. One group organizes trips for veterans to view the war memorials in Washington D.C. - known as an Honor Flight.

Whether it involves putting flags on graves for Memorial Day, or simply attending the funeral of a

local veteran, there are plenty of ways to volunteer.
